Huddle House

Audrey took our drink order and went to the back. Ten minutes later we were still waiting on our drinks. The place only had two customers so it was not busy. We had to flag another waitress to get our drinks (this waitress was very polite even though it was obvious that she was going off shift & she was delayed by helping us). Audrey finally emerged to take our order, sort of. Out of the 3 in our group, only 1 person’s order was filled correctly. I had to argue to get the hash browns my Ranch Platter came with. Then I had to send them back because they were just mushy potatoes. When the second plate arrived, it was still just a pile of wet potatoes. We were never asked if everything was ok or if we needed a refill. Our waitress had disappeared into the back again and left us alone for around 30 minutes. There wasn’t another waitress for me to flag down. When Audrey finally emerged with our ticket, it arrived with the coupon not applied. The second ticket also did not include the coupon discount. Audrey sent another waitress to deal with us since she was “busy” looking for a ring that she thought she lost under a booth. She loudly explained to the other waitress that her ring was more important than waiting on “bad customers” (her words). When I explained the situation about the food, the service and the ticket to the new waitress, she snapped at me that she didn’t have to deal with customers being rude and that I needed to have the general manager “handle” me the next morning. She was raising her voice at me even though I never raised mine or said anything rude- I simply stated what I have written here. At this point we’d been at the restaurant for an hour and a half. It took another 30 minutes for the two waitresses to figure out how to apply the discount from the Huddle House app. I usually eat at HH with my dad at least once a week. It will be a long while before I’m willing to endure this again.

Staff were friendly and quick with service. It was Christmas so we were surprised, to be honest. Counter stools are where we normally sit. This time, it was a mistake. The seats are extremely uncomfortable. Somehow, a warm day in the winter and cold inside. Gravy was out right chilly with my cold over easy eggs. Only thing that came out hot between the two of us was the sausage patty. Cooks and wait staff tried as hard as they could. Just not sure what fool thought full AC was a good idea on Christmas, even in GA. If that wasn't AC. They need a heater.

I order food through huddle house website for delivery and they use door dash to deliver their orders and I caught the delivery driver eating my food and when I drove up there and told them what happened the employee call the manager and said they wouldn't remake the order or replace what they eat because it was a delivery order almost $50 worth of food and that is the thanks I get for ordering food from their business. I will never again order from here.

I have breakfast nearly every weekend with my kids at a Huddle House if there’s one nearby. I didn’t have my kids with me today, but the food was good, as usual. This review isn’t about the food though. My server Kimberly was outstanding! She was very attentive. My drinks never got low, and anything I could think of I needed… she already had it on the table before I needed it. Service is the reason I don’t go to a certain Huddle House restaurant, but Kimberly is the reason I will be back to this one. Plus, she’s cute too😊
